Hello! I'm Kamille, a licensed psychotherapist (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) based in Manhattan, New York City. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Child Development from Florida State University and a Master's Degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. I trained at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. I also have extensive experience working at one of New York City's oldest non-profit agencies, ranging from providing therapy to adolescents and families involved in the juvenile justice system to young adults with relationship issues, family conflict, and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and substance use. My scope of knowledge is not limited to the populations listed above. I believe in the power of psychodynamic talk therapy combined with exploring relational dynamics, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, mindfulness, and setting specific, measurable and realistic goals. The combination of treatment techniques will be tailored to each individual client depending on needs and treatment goals. My mission is to create a safe space to explore what is bringing you to therapy, to support you, and increase your hope in order to motivate you to take action and feel empowered to impact and change your life.
